.four.

My baby girl is four!  Josh started his new job on Brynn's birthday!  It will be easy to remember his aniversary now.  He left before she got up but when she did, her new bike and a few presents were waiting for her!  She was pretty excited and her favorite part was the baby seat on the back for her dolls.  When Dad got home from work we had a picnic of Domino's pizza for dinner before having the neighbors over for her rainbow cake!  It was pretty massive and lots of fun to make and eat.

A few things about Brynn at 4:
-She is very excited to be a big sister and I know she will be lots of help to Mom.
-She loves to watch Barney and Mr. Bean on the ipad.
-She did great with her preschool class and enjoyed it after getting used to things.
-She is taking a dance class and enjoys dancing for us to the music on the weather channel.
-She can ride the 4-wheeler all by herself!
-She is the cutest little Mommy you will ever see, she is such a caretaker and always mothering the boys (Dad included)
-She ADORES her Dad and mauls him with hugs and kisses when he gets home.  You could say she's obsessed with him!
Happy Birthday Brynn we love you so much and we are so happy you are our little girl!

.all aboard the birthday train.

Brynn has been talking for months and months about how she wanted to take the "birthday train" for her special day.  Its funny because she's been freaking out at night upset about the noisy trains blowing their horns and waking her up.
Friday afternoon we took frontrunner to salt lake for the evening.  Once we got downtown we were informed that the trax portion of the trip was under construction and that we needed to take the bus down to the gateway.  We had applebee's for dinner and then went down to build-a-bear to make friends for the kids.  Birthday girl chose a calico kitty she named Callie.  TJ chose a camo bear and named him Bob and Gage got a monkey he named Jeff.  Since it was Brynn's birthday we let her choose an outfit for her kitty.  After we went out and watched the boys play in the fountains.  We stopped at the planetarium hoping to get some glasses to view the solar eclipse that was to happen that weekend.  They were sold out!
We tried to figure out the bus schedule to get us back to frontrunner.  After waiting for awhile at the stop, we decided to walk because it wasn't that far!  Well...not that far for someone NOT 9 months pregnant!!! I was pooped but we eventually made it back and rode the birthday train back home.

.nine.

My firstborn is NINE!

Josh's work schedule worked great letting him be home to see TJ open his birthday presentsbefore going to bed after a long night at work. TJ was dressed and ready to go on his special day. He opened his before heading off to school.

I've had a great time meeting the kids at school for lunch on their Birthdays. I asked TJ what he wanted me to bring him that day, he requested an Arby's Roast Beef sandwich WITH cheese, curly fries and a root beer. Amy and Katy came up to visit that day and tagged along with Brynn and I to eat lunch with the Birthday boy.

TJ and his buddies: Austin, Skyler, and Daxton. They all were pretty happy to sit and eat with us and it so fun to watch your kids in their own element interacting with their friends. I don't know how much longer he'll want to eat lunch with his Mom so I'm soaking it all in!

Amy and Katy stayed the morning and helped me finish decorating TJ's Lego cake.

TJ wanted BeyBlades for his Birthday this year. After school he and the boys played them with his new stadium. He was very nice to share.

Only one more Birthday picture with him being able to hold up his age on his fingers! After pizza for dinner we had cake and ice cream. After Dad lit the candles I was counting down from three for us to all sing him happy birthday. He took that as his que to blow out all the candles before we sang! Silly boy, he makes us laugh everyday! So, we lit the candles again this time we were able to sing to him before he blew them out and made a wish.

Two days after his brithday it was the Blue and Gold dinner for scouts. We were able to finish up his requirements and he earned his Wolf Badge before graduating to Bears!
