After TJ's game we stopped at Panda Express for lunch.  That evening it was time for the annual summer mohawks.  I'll admit, I'm not a huge fan...but they look cute with whatever haircut they have!

.the three musketeers.

Brooke and Lindsi were my two very best friends growing up. I've known them both since I was 7 years old. We lived on the same circle in Taylorsville. We've kept in contact, and since our parents still live there we sometimes bump into each other when we visit home.

Brooke's husband in a dentist in the Army. They lived in Germany for awhile and now they are living in Texas. She came to visit for 6 weeks this summer and arranged for us to get together at Wheeler Farm to visit while she was here.

The kids are all getting bigger. Our kids are close in age, and even though I don't think they remembered the last time (3 years ago) that we got together, they had fun with each other.

Last time we all had babies. I found this picture of Ava, CJ and Brynn from then.

Here are those same babies all grown up!

I'm so grateful we all made the effort to see each other. It was a wonderful visit!

.another good effort.

We made plans to meet some friends at the Ogden Splash pad. I had to run some errands first so it worked out great telling them we'd do that after. Problem was when we got there it was closed or maintenance! My friend and her kids weren't there yet so I was able to call her and let her know. We stayed and played at the park for a minute. I didn't have any trees and it was HOT. We opted for ice cream cones at Artic Circle in stead!

.free slurpee day.

Hooray for free Slurpee's! We hit the 7-11 just after lunchtime this year. Good thing because they were out of the "free slurpee" size cups and were giving out free smalls instead! I told the kids it was our lucky day!

The Elders Quorum held their family social at the park again this year. Josh was in charge of the zip line again. At one point I counted almost 40 kids waiting patiently in line!
