.awards ceremony.

We had TJ's Football awards ceremony the weekend after his final game. They held it in a reception center in Brigham that one of the players parents owned. They had a sloppy joe dinner, bouncy house, awards, highlight video and an ice cream bar! I told TJ we needed to get a picture of his helmet before we turned it back in. He earned a sticker for every single game this year. That's quite the accomplishment considering they only gave out 3 stickers per game. It got kinda embarrassing there at the end, seeing he had so many...but really he did earn every single one!

.final game.

TJ's last game of the season was October 1st. It was a home game which is always nice. I had purchased a new zoom lens off KSL the day before. Talk about waiting till the last minute. I parked Brynn and Gage on the sidelines and climbed the bleachers for some better angles. I LOVED my new lens and it was so fun to download them when I got home. I got some keepers! It was a great season and we are already looking forward to next year.

.bees vs. bear river.

This was Grandma's first game. You can't tell by this picture, but we sat for almost an hour before hand in the car because of the pouring rain. The weather was beautiful for our game and TJ had a great game! Joshs cousin Brett's boy Garrison was playing on the Bear River team so it was a fun rivalry for us. I didn't take my camera because of the weather so Brett got me a disc of the shots she took after. Once I saw her fabulous pictures, I knew for sure I needed to get a new lens! Made such a difference! Garrison was #5 and TJ played opposite him the whole game. TJ even tackled him on his touchdown run (see the bottom photos).

.peach days.

We did a quick run through Peach Days this year. We made it in time for the parade and watched most of that. Bummer part was they didn't throw candy from the floats this year. I'm sure it was because of last year when we were there and the kid across the street was run over by a trailer. All the kids brought bags for their look and Gage was pissed! Any opportunity for him to get candy is his favorite thing. He kept telling us how stupid it was after we realized there would be no candy this year. To bad people can't watch their kids, get hurt and ruin it for everyone else. A parade without candy was not so fun.

We walked around a few booths and displays, we didn't even get food or walk down to the car show this year. Instead we left early and stopped at Call's Drive in on the way home for lunch.

TJ's football game was that afternoon in Logan. It was pretty exciting because they got to play on the High School field that had an AstroTurf field. I loved being in the stands, it was such a better view of the game. Wish I had a better lens though.

I can't remember but I think this was the game TJ scored 2 touchdowns? Here is a picture of one of them. And we finally won our first game! Wahoo!

Josh has been busy like usual. He scored some steel paneling from work for cost and has built an awning over the dog run and wood pile, this shed that now houses the boat and another shed which in now the kids 'hut'. Its made up all fancy inside with flooring, tv, game cube, table and chairs. They are pretty lucky I think.

.september.

Our vegetable garden has been very productive this year. I planted zucchini, yellow squash, jalapenos, green peppers and tomatoes. I think we had zucchini with dinner every day in August and now we are eating the loads of tomatoes the garden is blessing us with! BLT sandwich for dinner, yes please!

Brynn Ann hasn't been taking naps now for over a year, but that still doesn't stop her from falling asleep at night around dinnertime. sigh.

Gage has been able to take his turn this year mowing the lawn. Both the boys enjoy getting assigned this chore.

Gage lost his front tooth this month. Doesn't get much cuter than that!

After practice this week, the coach let the boys off a little early so they could attend the Box Elder vs. Bear River football game. Its the big rivalry of the area so it was a packed house. TJ's buddy Noah from his team sat with us. TJ was so excited. He was enthralled with the entire game and talked about it all the way home how he wanted to play there someday.

Our game was the next day at Mountain Crest. The game before was running an hour late and since we were to be there an hour early we had a lovely 2 hour wait. Trying to keep the boys busy while staying in the shade was interesting. Thankfully TJ caught a grasshopper and that kept them busy for awhile.

We got crushed again this game. The Mountain Crest team was good...real good. Good thing its fun anyways.

.brigham purple vs. clearfield.

Our second season game was in Brigham this time vs. Clearfield. TJ got a new haircut since the last football picture so I had to snap a new one.

Another loss. This team was good, but not as good as the last time. We were able to score again so we haven't been shut out yet so that's good. Our defence did a great job this game...believe me the score could have been alot worse!

Also, Grandma and Grandpa came this game.
