Vivienne Rose Barker
Saturday morning we had decided on Vivienne, but were still unsure of her middle name. When my Mom came to visit we let her know her name and then told her about using her initial for her middle name after her. She said she did not care about us using her middle name and that something else might just be better? When I was mulling over names, the name Rose came to mind. When Josh brought the kids in the first time he brought me pink roses and I seriously felt like it was a sign. He always gets me roses. I told him afterwards that his gift was a confirmation to me that her middle name should be Rose. He didn't seem to care too much so that's what it is and I LOVE it! I was unsure of how to spell Vivienne in the beginning. I sent a sheet of paper back with the nurses on which way we should spell it. The french version, Vivienne or Vivian. You actually say them differently depending on how its spelt. The paper came back unanimously with Vivienne (which was my favorite to begin with) so that's what we used. I cannot tell you how may compliments we have received of her name. Everyone says how pretty and different it is....not crazy different, but a beautiful name you don't here very often.
After Josh put the kids to bed he came to pick us up Saturday around 8:00pm. We relaxed a bit and got everything packed to leave. My nurses were great and hooked me up with a few extra supplies so we didn't have to leave the house once we got home for a few days. I could have stayed another week if they let me, I sure like the support and help when I'm there.
