We spent the afternoon carving pumpkins. What was special about it this year is that they were OUR pumpkins, meaning ones that we grew in our garden this year. I got a late start planting them so they were pretty dinky and we had a ton of small green ones on the vine. But I was happy to save the $12 or so that we would have spent otherwise. The kids each got two pumpkins, Brynn specifically picked the green one to carve. They did everything themselves and they looked great!
We took the kids to our annual Ward Fall Carnival. They young women and young put it on and they have tons of games and prizes for the kids. Brynn even got into it a little more this year than she ever has before. The boys have started wrestling and practice held them up a bit, we were in a mad dash to throw their costumes on once they arrived. Also Josh was able to come this year!
