.trip home.

We took the trip home in two days. We stopped in St. George for the night before driving home on Friday. Before we checked into our hotel, we stopped at our favorite spot Pioneer Park to let everyone out of the car and run off some pent up energy. We went to to Smith's and got some more bread for yet another dinner of pb&j's. And of course another hotel swim before our trip came to an end!

.Disneyland Day Two.

Wednesday we went back to Disneyland. Besides the World of Color show, we did every single thing in California Adventure the day before. We did miss a few things in Disneyland so that's where we decided to spend our final day. We hauled Brynn's Ariel dress with us, did her princess hair with her new tiara and off we went. We started in Tomorrowland this time. The boys didn't get to do Star Tours the time before so they went straight to that one. We first thought we'd get fast passes for it, but they decided to wait in line and get straight on. Josh suggested I still get fast pass tickets while we waited, so we did. Star Tours seemed to be the longest wait in the park so if they wanted to go again, we'd better get some tickets. After they got done, they went again on Space Mountain. By that time our fast passes to Star Tours were effective and Josh said 'let just all go on it, you'll be fine...its not any worse than Soaring over California the day before". Boy was he WRONG! Ugh, as soon as it started I threw off my glasses and just prayed it would be over soon. Made me very sick and I had to get outside and sit down with some water after. Josh felt bad, he said the movie they played wasn't the same one they saw earlier and this one was much more rocky. He felt so bad he went right in and bought me an insanely expensive (but adorable) Yoda backpack! When you wear it it looks as though you are giving Yoda a piggyback ride! We got lots of attention as we wore it around that day and it was very nice of him.
Brynn seemed very interested this day in meeting some Princesses and getting her picture taken. I think the experience in Toon Town before made her realize it wasn't scary, but fun! As we walked to Fantasyland we spotted Princess Aurora and waited a few people to see her. She was adorable and Brynn enamored. She smiled the whole time and even talked back to her when she asked her some questions. We rode a few more rides in Fantasyland and then walked back to Big Thunder Mountain. This was the only other ride we didn't get to do before. Josh got some great video of the boys riding it. We went and did Splash Mountain again and while the boys did that, Brynn and I walked back to Pooh Corner. There was a line to meet Tigger, Eeyore and Pooh Bear. Brynn was all about waiting in line to see them so that's' what we did. Tigger was first and as we got closer I stated getting nervous that Brynn wouldn't like him. He was very animated and was making big loud movements. She proved me wrong and ran right up to him and gave him the biggest hug! Aw. She did the same with Eeyore and when we got to Pooh, the boys were done so I dragged them across the rope for a picture. We ate lunch down that way. Gage and Brynn got a churro, Josh a hamburger and I had a yummy fried green tomato sandwich. We almost got another regular burger, but since the other kids would probably not want any, we got TJ the kids burger instead! What a joke! It was a slider size burger and cost $7! We should have got him the $9 adult burger instead! I had him hold up his prize burger for a picture...it was pretty funny!
We rode the train that circled the whole park and then went back to try and see Rapunzel. The line was long and we waited about 40 minutes, Brynn and I. She was so patient and good waiting all that time.
By that time we had done and seen everything, some things more than twice and decided to call it a night. Three days was plenty for us to see and do everything we wanted too. I can see if you have to wait hours in lines you'd need some more time, but I'd go back again we would in a heartbeat because the crowds were so nice. We stopped and shopped a bit on our way out and got the kids all a sucker. It was a fabulous trip and I already want to go back again!

.California Adventure.

We woke up Tuesday morning and went to the local Wal-Mart after breakfast. We decided the night before, it looked like it would work better to get something for us to eat when we got back from the parks at night in our room. We got bread, peanut butter and jelly! The best part was they had a ton of Disney merchandise for a fraction of the park costs! Brynn picked out some Minnie ears and a Minnie purse and made her dollars stretch much further.
We were all pretty excited to go to Disney's California Adventure that day! It was new to everyone, including Josh and I. We went straight to get fast passes to the World of Color show that evening, but soon realized it started fifteen minutes before our last shuttle was scheduled to leave the park. We made some phone calls to make sure, so we were pretty bumbed we'd have to miss out on that one. Next time! We went on the new Little Mermaid ride. Brynn was worried, but soon realized it was fun and liked it. We then did a bunch of ride at the California Boardwalk end of the park. The boys went on the California Screaming roller coaster while Brynn and I rode the carousel. The boys LOVED that ride, I think it was their very favorite of the two parks! We then went to Bug's Life. It was an area geared towards little kids so Brynn loved every ride there. I don't think I saw her smile as big as she did when they rode the bumper cars! We saw the Bug's Life show in the theater with 3D glasses. It was neat with water squirting out and bugs running under your bums. It was pretty intense with spiders that came down from the ceiling, even that scared me a bit. Brynn didn't like the whole experience surprisingly! :)
We then went and waited for the guys to ride the Tower of Terror. They went on in twice since the line was so short. We then went into the backlot studio type place and saw the Muppet's in 3D and rode the Monsters Inc. ride. For lunch that day we shared a turkey leg, yum! We waited in line for Soaring over California for quite a while, probably 40 minutes. Brynn crashed in Josh's arms and he was pretty sore from holding her for so long. The ride was amazing, but borderline for me. It made you pretty motion sick, but I'm glad I went on it.
We went back and did a few more rides again. The kids went on the goofy roller coaster consecutively for probably a half hour, they would get off, run to the front and go again. No lines! I think they went 4 or 5 times! They also went on their favorite the roller coaster again twice. Brynn and I did some shopping and found her a gorgeous little tiara for her to wear with her princess dress at Disneyland the next day! We caught the shuttle, and did our nightly routine of swimming at the pool and pb&j's for dinner.
