.Disneyland Day Two.

Wednesday we went back to Disneyland. Besides the World of Color show, we did every single thing in California Adventure the day before. We did miss a few things in Disneyland so that's where we decided to spend our final day. We hauled Brynn's Ariel dress with us, did her princess hair with her new tiara and off we went. We started in Tomorrowland this time. The boys didn't get to do Star Tours the time before so they went straight to that one. We first thought we'd get fast passes for it, but they decided to wait in line and get straight on. Josh suggested I still get fast pass tickets while we waited, so we did. Star Tours seemed to be the longest wait in the park so if they wanted to go again, we'd better get some tickets. After they got done, they went again on Space Mountain. By that time our fast passes to Star Tours were effective and Josh said 'let just all go on it, you'll be fine...its not any worse than Soaring over California the day before". Boy was he WRONG! Ugh, as soon as it started I threw off my glasses and just prayed it would be over soon. Made me very sick and I had to get outside and sit down with some water after. Josh felt bad, he said the movie they played wasn't the same one they saw earlier and this one was much more rocky. He felt so bad he went right in and bought me an insanely expensive (but adorable) Yoda backpack! When you wear it it looks as though you are giving Yoda a piggyback ride! We got lots of attention as we wore it around that day and it was very nice of him.
Brynn seemed very interested this day in meeting some Princesses and getting her picture taken. I think the experience in Toon Town before made her realize it wasn't scary, but fun! As we walked to Fantasyland we spotted Princess Aurora and waited a few people to see her. She was adorable and Brynn enamored. She smiled the whole time and even talked back to her when she asked her some questions. We rode a few more rides in Fantasyland and then walked back to Big Thunder Mountain. This was the only other ride we didn't get to do before. Josh got some great video of the boys riding it. We went and did Splash Mountain again and while the boys did that, Brynn and I walked back to Pooh Corner. There was a line to meet Tigger, Eeyore and Pooh Bear. Brynn was all about waiting in line to see them so that's' what we did. Tigger was first and as we got closer I stated getting nervous that Brynn wouldn't like him. He was very animated and was making big loud movements. She proved me wrong and ran right up to him and gave him the biggest hug! Aw. She did the same with Eeyore and when we got to Pooh, the boys were done so I dragged them across the rope for a picture. We ate lunch down that way. Gage and Brynn got a churro, Josh a hamburger and I had a yummy fried green tomato sandwich. We almost got another regular burger, but since the other kids would probably not want any, we got TJ the kids burger instead! What a joke! It was a slider size burger and cost $7! We should have got him the $9 adult burger instead! I had him hold up his prize burger for a picture...it was pretty funny!
We rode the train that circled the whole park and then went back to try and see Rapunzel. The line was long and we waited about 40 minutes, Brynn and I. She was so patient and good waiting all that time.
By that time we had done and seen everything, some things more than twice and decided to call it a night. Three days was plenty for us to see and do everything we wanted too. I can see if you have to wait hours in lines you'd need some more time, but I'd go back again we would in a heartbeat because the crowds were so nice. We stopped and shopped a bit on our way out and got the kids all a sucker. It was a fabulous trip and I already want to go back again!

.Disneyland.

DISNEYLAND! Monday we woke up bright and early, ate our yummy Mickey Mouse pancakes and when it was time, went outside to wait for the bus. The hotel didn't offer their own shuttle, but the city transit came right to the front lobby to pick up passengers at quarter after the hour every hour, all day. It was $3 per day for adult and $1 for children. The parking at the park was $15 and it sounded like you'd have to walk for a long while before you got to the front gate. Where this way we were picked up at our front door and then dropped off right at the front! Very convenient. The park hours were limited slightly during the week. It opened at 10:00 so we left on the 9:15 bus. We were able to get into Disneyland right away. They had everything open on main street, it was places like Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland that you had to wait until 10:00. We made our way down to Frontierland and only waited about 15 minutes before it opened. The boys went straight to Indiana Jones. I must admit, not being able to ride this one because I'm pregnant made me pretty sad. Its my very favorite ride! Brynn and I walked around a few of the shops outside while we waited. We made our way back up to the Frontier land entrance where the Tiki Juice Bar was located. I got us a pineapple float to share! Pineapple ice cream covered in pineapple juice! HEAVEN! It was so tasty. I read some park food reviews before we left knowing that Brynn and I would be waiting around alot. This was the "it" thing to get and it did not disappoint. Sounds like in the busy summer months, the wait for one of these could be over an hour! First thing in the morning, we walked right up to the counter and got one. Yum! Brynn liked it for the first little bit, and I can't say I was sad not having to share the whole thing with her! After Indiana Jones, we went to Pirates of the Caribbean. We took the whole family on this one! Probably not the best ride to take Brynn on first. She cried through most of it. Next was Haunted Mansion which we all went on too, again probably not the best to take Brynn on. We just told her to close her eyes, which helped. There just wasn't a whole lot of rides I knew we could all go on together, so I wanted to make sure we went on them. The boys did Splash Mountain next. We then went back on the Jungle Cruise and then through Sleeping Beauty's Castle to Fantasyland! We went on Pinocchio first, and Brynn once again hated it! The rides are just pretty dark and LOUD, which is what I think she didn't like most of all. I wanted to go on Peter Pan and dragged the boys on it with me while Josh took Brynn on the Carousel and the little train they have there. Brynn and Gage waited for Dumbo, we thought maybe Brynn could ride alone with Gage but once they got to the front that wasn't the case, so Josh jumped in and was able to ride with Brynn. She loved that one too!
For lunch we went back down to mainstreet to find the famous Corndog Stand. Another one of the must eat things I found online. We got 3, $7 corndog meals with chips! They were huge and very good. Next was to Tomorrow land. We went on the Buzz lightyear ride, which was a blast...literally. It was an interactive game you used guns to shoot at targets. Very fun, Brynn wasn't happy about the dark and noises once again. The boys then went on Space Mountain and then to Autotopia. After we went on the Little Mermaid Submarine ride. We were worried Brynn would hate this one too, but to our surprise she really loved it!
Our last stop that day in the park was Mickey's ToonTown. It was fun because it had alot of photo props and squishy looking buildings and things to climb on. We walked up and down the town and waited while the boys waiting in line for a kiddie roller coaster. Goofy, Mickey and Minnie's house were down at the end and Brynn was pretty interested in looking at the characters. He and Josh went and admired Minnie from afar. She passed them on the way to her break and kissed Brynn on the forehead! They came back to tell me about it because I was waiting by the fountain for the boys, she had the biggest smile on her face! The lines for pictures weren't very long so we waited for a family shot with Goofy and then walked through mickey's house to get one with him. By that time Brynn was liking all these cute characters and wanted to wait for Minnie. We waited a few minutes and again she left for a break (I think they must rotate them out quite often?). I told her that she would be back, but she got right out of line and ran over to Pluto which was close by. She surprised me with how she reacted to them. She ran right up to him and gave his the biggest hug! Pretty darn adorable!
We then walked to our bus stop and took the bus back to the hotel. We bought the kids fanny packs before we left. I figured we'd pack lots of snacks for lunch in the day and then eat out somewhere at night. Didn't work out so well because the bus went straight back to our hotel...no where really to stop. We snacked for dinner that night and the kids when to the pool again with Josh. I enjoyed a hot shower and had a few quite minutes before they got back. Didn't take anyone long that night to fall asleep!
