Gage's beautiful masterpiece of the day!

Josh even crafted. Wow, first cake decorating and now making bracelets! I love it!

my handsome

After the horseshoe tournament a hilarious game of "Minute to Win it" started.
They picked a member of each family to participate. Josh represented the Barkers.

First was the ping pong booty shake. They had to shake their balls out of the boxes strapped to their bottoms. So funny. One person was eliminated each game. Josh also played one where they had to transfer cotton balls from one bowl to another just using their noses rubbed with Vaseline.

Poor Josh was eliminated this next go around.

Can you see how upset he is about it? For this challenge they had to strap panty hose to their waists which had a baseball at the end. I think Josh peed his pants laughing so hard, even before the game began. Something funny about low hanging balls I guess?

They had to drag the ball and knock over 10 empty pop cans.

It was pretty close and Josh lost by just a hair.

More fun. It was a blast and everyone had fun playing and watching.

Josh and the boys went up with Gill and Josh to Causey and fished a bit.

The boys didn't catch a fish, but they did catch a snake. oh goody.

smore goodness.

It took Brynn all weekend to warm up to all the nice ladies up there wanting her attention.

She finally did though and made some friends.

We stayed till Sunday morning. They served french toast that day.

Until next year...

.happy birthday to me.

My Birthday this year fell over the Olsen Reunion this year. Josh took the day off work and we packed to head up Ogden Canyon for the weekend. On the way up we stopped for Mexican to celebrate!

Birthday dinner, hotdogs!

My sweet hubby spent the night before making me a fabulous Birthday cake! He even went to Wal-Mart halfway through around 10pm to get more ingredients for the frosting.

He did everything himself and it was my favorite present that day!

Saturday is when most of the reunion festivities happen. We started the day with breakfast burritos.

The boys made a bike jump out of dirt and enjoyed their huge audience as they showed off their stuff. This one is Gage.

And this high flyer is TJ.

They have a horseshoe tournament every year. Josh was out the first round. I made it all the way to the semi-finals. woot.

Brynn getting her craft on...making friendship bracelets.

.July 17th.

Saturday was busy. We had the annual Barker Reunion at lunch time. It it held at the local park so its nice and easy to plan for.

We got lunch to go at Arby's. After Brynn crawled all over Josh and I as we laid on a blanket.

Rocky Road ice cream

Grandpa brought the zip line for the kids. Its always a big hit.

I didn't get a good shot of Gage going on it. Every time he'd throw up his legs and hang upside down. I got a butt shot every time I tried. I eventually gave up.

I did get a cute one of TJ.

That same afternoon Josh and I attended the wedding of his cousin Kelli. She and her now husband Luke were married at Market Street Grill in Cottonwood heights. The ceremony was on their outdoor patio. It was beautiful, hot...but gorgeous.

I grabbed a few pics off her photographers blog. Isn't she SO gorgeous?!?!

She and Luke have dated forever so it was fun to see them finally get married! Kelli holds a special place in my heart. She and my youngest sister Katie are good friends and they were the ones who set Josh and I up! We are forever indebted to them both! :)
