.visitors, the shaws.

Josh's best friend Tyler and his family came to stay with us a night on their way to a reunion in Park City. They came in early Friday afternoon and we headed out to the bay. After we came home and ordered Maddox for dinner and had peach pie for dessert. Tyler is a Dentist in Butte, Montana and it was a great visit! We haven't seen them in a few years and were finally able to meet their newest addition, baby Alanna!

Brynn and Alanna.
We laughed when the girls came out with the same outfit on Saturday morning! Brynn loved the baby and wanted to hold her constantly.

Our boys. We have matching families. Two boys and a girl.

.the three musketeers.

Brooke and Lindsi were my two very best friends growing up. I've known them both since I was 7 years old. We lived on the same circle in Taylorsville. We've kept in contact, and since our parents still live there we sometimes bump into each other when we visit home.

Brooke's husband in a dentist in the Army. They lived in Germany for awhile and now they are living in Texas. She came to visit for 6 weeks this summer and arranged for us to get together at Wheeler Farm to visit while she was here.

The kids are all getting bigger. Our kids are close in age, and even though I don't think they remembered the last time (3 years ago) that we got together, they had fun with each other.

Last time we all had babies. I found this picture of Ava, CJ and Brynn from then.

Here are those same babies all grown up!

I'm so grateful we all made the effort to see each other. It was a wonderful visit!

.tracy aviary.

Friday we met Denice, Lisa and the kids at Tracy Aviary at Liberty Park. We arrived just in time to see the bird show. It was pretty entertaining and neat to see some of the birds so close.

Isabella, Logan, TJ, Jaycob and Gage.

We walked the park grounds afterwards and saw some of the residents.
Brynn and I liked the flamingos.

Eisley

After we had lunch in the park.

After that we played in the river splash park. It was all concrete and was made to look like all the rivers along the Wasatch Front that drain into the Great Salt Lake. It was quite big with lots of back corners and places to discover.

The boys would sit in the water and create a dam with their bodies.

The girls and I found some shade and played in a shallow pool up "millcreek" canyon.

Before we left we went down to the playground with the bigger splash park and watched the kids before we headed back home.
