.accident.

We had a few misfortunes on our trip to Moab this year. On the way down our trailer pulling the Jeep popped a tire and Josh had to replace it with the spare off the busy highway.

When we go on our adventures down south we take the video camera and film challenging spots on the trails. Saturday we were on the Hell's Revenge ride and I got out to do just that. I got in close to the jeep to video the boys in the back and then was stepping back to get some pictures of Josh. He thought I was done and started on his way. My foot was still in the way and was quickly run over by the tire. It happened fast and even though there was intense pain and pressure, the tire did feel a little squishy. This was because the tires were softer to give us a smoother ride. I gasped and yelled at Josh telling him he just ran over my foot! The next thing I said was, "didn't you feel it?" He looked frightened and said that no he didn't. It seemed like a good question at the time, ha. The best part is I have the whole glorious event captured on film. I'll have to try and see if I can get it loaded up here. It's pretty funny. Especially because the only thing I came away with is a nasty bruise. It could have been so much worse.
notice the tire mark on my shoe!
my awesome bruise
Mother's Day was nice yesterday. Josh made me waffles for breakfast and I got to sleep in a little. This was even better since the boys were both up at 6:30! I got a potted flower at church and TJ got up in sacrament with the primary to sing some Mother's songs, It was his first time doing so. Made my whole day!
