.school's out.

2007 Preschool Graduate

TJ's last day of preschool was yesterday. sniff sniff. (He does have another year of preschool to go before kindergarten, thank goodness!)
Gage and I attended their little program the last 45 minutes of class. They took us through a day in preschool by telling us what they did everyday. Pledge of allegiance, the ABC's and the days of the week. They sang songs and also had a slide show. Each one of the kids got to come up and speak into the microphone. The first question they asked was what was you favorite part of preschool. TJ's answer was, "Halloween." At the end of the program they had the kids come up and tell us what they wanted to be when they grew up. Then their teachers said what they thought the kids should be based on their personality, how they acted. It was cute, they did a good job with TJ. He said he wanted to be a fireman when he grows up. The teachers thought he'd be a great NASCAR driver when he gets big because he's so brave, always sticking up for others and is "speedy" fast. I think every girl in the class said they wanted to be a flower girl when they grew up, so funny.
After we went to the Dr's to have Gage's ears checked. Then on the way home I took the boys to McDonald's for a special lunch on TJ's last day of school. I told him it was because he was such a good boy and did so well this year.
Josh has today off, so we have a long weekend! Yeah! We have some errands to run today. Get cars inspected, go grocery shopping. I think we are going to try and see Shrek the Third this afternoon with the boys. (I'm most excited about this, I LOVE the Shrek movies!)

P.S. I still have to get swing set pics up...sorry
P.P.S. My sister Amy called me at 10pm last night (Hi, Amy) and told me she had just gone to the new IKEA store in Draper and how neat it was. How fun is that? I love that she called me...she must have known I'd appreciate it. I did. I'm jealous and look forward to her taking me there soon!
