.4th of July.

What a fun day we had. I think one of the best things about living where we do is the 4th of July festivities. There is a Mud Rally (TJ and Josh both rode in this...will share more in different post) baseball games, movie night, demolition derby, kids carnival, breakfast, and a parade. I was wanting to get up and go to the flag ceremony and then have breakfast early...but no one else did. So, we bummed around the house till about 10:00am and then headed to the park for the parade. The kids had fun collecting candy and Popsicles.

Josh had his final tournament game after the parade.

Later we went to the park for cake and ice cream for my niece Annie's 7th Birthday. We then found a spot on the grass and waited for the show to begin. While we waited the kids were entertained by sparklers.

This is my cute niece. She wanted to hold a sparkler SO bad...

but just couldn't muster up the courage to do so!

Gage didn't like them at first either...but he warmed up the the idea, just about the time they were all gone.

Yeah!

I liked the movement in this picture. My niece was the only one who held still.

Hope your 4th was happy!
