.reunion.

We spent last weekend at our family reunion.
The boys had fun in the river, but we forgot our inner tubs! Dang.This is always such a fun reunion. Josh came in 3rd place with his partner in the horseshoe tournament.But we mostly just hung out in the shade and visited because even in the mountains its hot!

TJ had another accident. He was riding his bike, fell off and hit his head on a rock. Neither Josh or I was there to see it. We just saw someone carrying him back to our camp with a bloody rag held to his head. He was wearing his helmet. Some witnesses told us they thought the helmet cut his head. He was riding near the fire pit and almost fell into it. Sigh. He could have used some stitches, but like last year I remembered butterfly bandages (never leave home with out them) and we fixed him up.
Note: for those of you who don't know TJ got his head split open last year at this same reunion by a bat during a pinata game. Same thing, he could have had stitches but we used the trusty butterfly band aid. He has a nice scar from it and now I guess he will have one to match on the other side. What do I do with this kid? He is so susceptible to head wounds!!! Just last week he had a clock fall off the wall onto his head...that could have had a stitch then too!
Most of my conversations at the reunion were like this...
"Was that your boy who fell off his bike?"
"Wasn't he the one that got hurt up here last year?"
....yes

Shane has this nifty thingamajig. Gage thought that was pretty neat to ride like the big boys.

This is my niece Maren, she's my friend. Isn't she a cutie pie?

These guys are twin cousins...they were born 6 days apart.

Sunday after church. My boys home and all tuckered out.
