Yep, today is my birthday. I can't believe it's August already. Where has the summer gone? We spent the weekend camping again. No accidents this time so I think we will call it a success! Fun stuff. I think I'd be happy camping every weekend during this time of year. The heat can be unbearable. The boys don't go out and play much because it's too hot. So I try and entertain them inside for awhile. We get a little stir crazy, but were hangin' in there.
Back to my birthday. I got my present a few months ago. A new sewing machine! Yeah!!! I'm very behind on my quilt class and have about 7 blocks to finish before we meet again in September. I've been working on another project to make some panels for a shelf in our bedroom. I've completed one of the four. If I ever finish...I'll post pictures.
I think we are going to order pizza for my big day today. I tell Josh the only thing I really ever want on my B-Day is to NOT have to make dinner. I'm sorry, but you just shouldn't have too. I've been craving pizza for awhile now (I get this every so often) and I'm going to order pepperoni and pineapple...my favorite.

Happy Happy Birthday!!! I thought about you yesterday but our internet was down! Anyway, I hope you had a great day. I remember those good old birthday parties. And thanks for posting the slime recipe! I am going to try it-we need something to do in this hot, humid weather. You are such an amazing mom.
Hope you had a fun birthday! Wow, the slime looks so fun. Back in the day when you were little, homemade play dough was the thing, who would have thought of slime?
