.bowling and turkey.

A few weeks ago I had the most awful day ever. First thing in the morning our toilet overflowed, twice and flooded into my food storage downstairs!!! Ew, so gross. I called Josh and bawled for him to come home and help me clean up. He mostly just laughed at me. I bawled some more and cleaned up. It took me about 2 hours! I mopped, threw some food away and sterilized some cans that got wet. Then after TJ got home from school, he wanted a glass of milk. I got him one and for some reason Gage was upset at him and smacked that full glass of milk all over my freshly mopped kitchen floor. (I mopped the bathroom and mopped the kitchen too since I had the mess out) Milk went everywhere, the cabinets, the wall all over the floor, rugs and carpet. I couldn't help but bawl some more...what a day! When Josh got home he said to get dressed and we went to dinner and bowling. So, the day ended much better than it started.

We got one of those roller ball contraptions that the kids just have to roll their balls down the lane. They thought that was pretty cool. Then after a short while they wanted to throw their own balls. That was interesting...we had more that one in end up going down the wrong lane.

TJ had a short preschool program last week. They sang some songs and read some poems. He had colored a Pilgrim hat and then the kids each got up and said something they were thankful for, and hung what that was onto the "thankful tree"

Most of the kids were thankful for family, pets and toys...here is a picture of what my son is thankful for!!! He is too much!

Here's my sweet little guy.

For Thanksgiving we spent it in Salt Lake this year. I'm a looser and didn't take one picture! I borrowed this picture from Amy's blog (thanks aim). Its a picture of Josh and I looking at the ads for the sales that started Friday. Note Josh's shirt...this is how we told his family about the baby. ha!

Dinner was excellent, I made some artichoke dip, rolls and a pomegranate/apple salad. We went to see Bee Movie that night. It was much better than I expected and it was so nice everyone accompanied us to the "kid movie".
Mom, Amy and I were out shopping at 6am. What I wanted at Target was gone. Josh ended up taking the boys to Home Depot at 6 too and got lots of good deals! I'm glad one of us did. We met later that morning for breakfast.

I love the T-shirt Brit! Too good! I'm so sorry about your awful day...sounds like the pregnancy hormones are kicking in. I'm not even pregnant and I would have been bawling over that too. Love and miss you!!

Laughing right now! I can just picture you bawling right now, sad! We had a blast with you on Thanksgiving, that worked out really well. We even liked the "Bee Movie"....I think Steve laughed the loudest! PS we did get Steve a camera for Christmas, guess who is already using it? I have no control! Thanks Brit!
