We tried to do some fun things with the kids before Christmas this year. It was hard to fit it all in, but I think we did a pretty good job.

One weeknight we took the boys to see a local light display. This was my second time seeing it this year because I also went with my activity day girls.

The boys were very impressed and we drove through twice...just to make sure we didn't miss anything.

For family night we made graham cracker ginger bread houses. I added cream of tarter to the frosting to "stiffen" it up. I think it helped, but I had a hard time getting my house to say up.

The result. Gage asked me every day when he could eat the house. I even caught him a few times sneaking a bit. I ended up throwing them away without the boys even noticing...whew!
