.yesterday.

I spent the whole day in the kitchen yesterday!!! I ran to Wal-Mart after we dropped TJ at preschool to get a few ingredients. Then I got to work.

I made some pretzel candies and then made, rolled out and baked sugar cookies. I used a recipe from www.allrecipes.com. It was for the best rolled sugar cookies. The boys helped with this part and we made quite the mess. Then I made the frosting and got to work on my masterpiece for Josh's Valentines Day present. What do you think? I spent HOURS on these stupid things...should have just bought a gift this year. ;) They did turn out pretty good.

He loved them an laughed when I gave them to him. For dinner I made a pretty fancy meal I found on www.pioneerwomancooks.com. She has a wonderful blog and I'm an avid reader. It was roasted garlic mashed potatoes, pan fried rib eye steak and asparagus (yum, spring is coming) and IBC cream soda. It was wonderful. Highly recomend it!

I did not take this picture, it's from her website. Looked just like this though, minus the salad and add asparagus. We cooked the steak for longer.

And a few pictures of the boys, getting their cards ready.

ETA: I don't know why the links won't work. blogger is being weird. sorry.
