The brick laying started yesterday. We ran up afterwards to see what it looked like on the house.

I LOVE the pattern they put in, the stripe with the "soldier" bricks. (Standing on end) I like how there are some that are recessed.

We chose a natural mortar, no color added. It will be grayish in color...but much lighter than this picture shows. It's still very wet here.
