.first day of kindergarten.

We survived!

Today was the first day of Kindergarten. TJ did great, we caught the bus which was right on time and away he went. Coming home was a different story, he was about 40 minutes late, but it's to be expected. He said it went good. He didn't seem scared in the least. When he got home he did tell me that his "eye's had a couple drips". Translation, he cried. I'm sure he didn't cry, but he gets watery eyes when he's scared or nervous.

He said it went good. He said he went up the wrong stairs and needed help finding his class. He read a story, make binoculars, toured school and found animals with the binoculars they made.

I had a harder time with it then I ever would have thought. Josh gave him a Father's blessing last night and I had a good cry before bed. I was fine today, no tears and just twiddled my thumbs in anticipation for him to get home and tell me all about it.

Waiting for the bus with our neighbor "D"

Sitting on the bus. Ever since TJ was about two, he talked about going on the bus to school. When we would pass one, he'd tell me how when he gets big, he is going to ride one.

Weird to think that that day has come already. They really do grow up fast!

so cute! Isn't the priesthood great! I had a good cry ALL DAY yesterday and after Greg gave Tee his blessing and me one too (lol) I felt so much better. I'm glad that you cried to :) and so cute that TJ had drippy eyes. I can't believe how fast they grow... I still remember being in our prenatal class together. Whod have thought they would be going to school toghether. :) ps Was Gage bored. Trey was dieing. We might have to let them get together. Is he going to preschool?

aw! Isn't school fun! He is so cute. Mariko does her 2nd year of preschool this year and I cried last year, so I'm sure I'll cry again this year (and have a stroke when she's in Kindergarten!). "drippy eyes" is too hilarious! He'll hate you when he's older for that one:)

The first day of school! How fun is that? I love how you blogged about it. I don't remember much about Sam or Matt's first day of kindergarten. You will definitely love looking back on it because they do grow so fast and it is a big milestone. TJ is the cutest and he will love it! I'm excited for when they all get to go to school together.

I am so glad to hear I am not the only one who cried. I am still crying after Michael leaves for school and it's the 5th day of school. I hope TJ had a good week at school!
