.we live in an amazing time.

Last Friday Josh and I were watching the presidential debate. We were talking about how much money the president makes annually. I told Josh I thought it was about $200k to $300k. Josh thought it was way more, like $500k. We made a back rub bet. (the currency in our relationship is usually calculated with the loser giving the winner a back rub!) I hopped on Google and in seconds I found out that the president makes $400,000 a year! We laughed because it was right smack dab in the middle. (my guess for the bet was $300k). Although with further research I did see a figure of $394,000. So I told him I win!

Saturday night TJ woke up at about 2am and said that he had gotten sick and threw up. Further investigation found he got sick all over his bed and again as he was coming down stairs to get me. (knock on wood) but I've never had to clean up throw up off the carpet before. I hopped on the Internet and in seconds...I found an article on how to clean it up. I love modern times!

Brynn had her first taste of solid food this weekend. I gave her some rice cereal and that girl loved it!

We spent part of this weekend in Salt Lake. Josh had to work Saturday morning. After we headed down to my Mom's to help her shingle her roof. (I say we, but I really only mean Josh). He was able to help for a few hours and then he had tickets and took the boys to Rocky Mountain Raceway. I think it was the Night of Fire show? Anyway, they had fun and Josh took some pictures for me! Brynn and I stayed home with my Mom and sister. We did a little shopping at Gardner Village and then spent some time at my sister's house. The boys did the boy thing and we did the girl thing.

Josh remembered ear plugs and even had some muffs for Gage. He said it was crazy loud!

Here is a video of the fun. He told me they have jet engines and only took seconds to get all the way down the track! Wow.

Thanks to everyone for your nice comments on the picture I just posted of Brynn. I've had alot of questions about what kind of camera I have, wanting to see my photography blog and photoshop questions. I'm working on a post to hopefully answer some questions, I hope to have it up later this week. Keep checking back.

I love that you really can find anything on the internet...we do live in an amazing time. How funny that you were in Salt Lake this weekend...we went to Logan for an alumni dinner for Bryan and as we drove through I had Bryan point out where you live...it looks like a fun little place with all the things you need close by. it is so pretty up the canyon with all the changing colors. Love it!

Opps I forgot I was going to tell you where we got our table...It is actually from the Wood Connection...which if you don't know is really close to Our parents. You can order them in and then they stain/paint them for you or you can finish them yourself...I would have prefered just to have them stain it for us, but we acutally had Bryan's friend that Painted our house stain it for us and it turned out really nice. The table we have is so heavy and solid which is great once you have it in the house. It came with 2 leaves so it extends upto like 92 inches. I am loving it so much...I think it will for sure last us for the rest of our lives. Check them out at woodconnection.com

I wish Greg made 400,000 a year. DANG! I just spent $100 at the eye doctor for just me. Holy crap! What am I gonna do when my kids need glasses.

I wonder if there is a bug going around school. It was Tee that was sick and it hit him yesterday morning too. How did they say to clean it up? I have a carpet cleaner so I whipped that out.
