.our weekend.

I had my very first photoshoot this weekend. I took some pictures for my friends adorable one year old little girl. It went great, I'm excited to finish them up and give them the proofs. Before our session I took my kids out to scout some locations. The one with the three of them was the best I got, at least they are all looking at me. I told them if they let me take their pictures, we could go to the D.I. afterwards and pick out a toy. Best 50 cents I've ever spent! You can see more on my photography blog.

Josh took the boys camping this weekend at the Sand dunes, and I forgot to send the camera with them! They all had a great time. TJ was able to ride a two wheeler motorcycle and Josh said he did wonderful. It's probably better I didn't go, that stuff makes me nervous.


I spent Saturday in Salt Lake and attended my sister's baby shower. I made her a diaper cake. Check out the sock rosettes! (Got the idea from Alyssa) We had a nice lunch and enjoyed visiting with family. Mom and I went to Amy's house afterwards and saw baby Katy's bedroom. Looks great Amy! Then we went to the mall, grabbed some dinner and then I headed home. I beat the boys home by only about 20 minutes. They both were so ornery when we woke them up and bawled the whole time trying to get them ready for bed. I told Josh next time he needed to have them take a few time outs during the day to rest. :)
