TJ was able to wear his costume to school on Friday, face paint and all. The kids and I ran down to his school to watch the Halloween parade.

My trick-or-
treaters! I had plans to go to the neighborhood trunk or treat, but Josh was late getting home and I didn't want to go by myself. Besides, I'm a little irked by the trunk or treats. Seems kinda strange to me, I mean where is the work? I'm not convinced of this modern day tradition yet. I guess because my boys just didn't care so much, neither did I.

And not to forget, the "maul your sister" picture. They are both so good at this pose.

I guess the highlight of our night was the pumpkin shaped pizza we ate for dinner and the 1, yeah you read that right, 1 trick or
treater we had come to our front door. Good times.

One trick or treater?! I set out a bowl of candy while I took the boys but the black light on our porch instead of a regular porch light must have said stay away or something because none of my candy had been taken. I ended up giving all of it to two teenagers still out at 9:?? Hope they stopped after that.
Your kids look adorable! Love the Maul your sister pic! TOOOOOO cute! and ditto on the trunk er treating.
I am with you! I love the door to door tradition. You should just come around my area next year, we could take the kids out together! That would be fun!
I only had 10 kids show up...in 2 groups so don't feel too bad! I'm not down with the trunk or treat either. The kids looks SO, SO cute and I'm glad you had a good night.
Ha! We only had one trick-or-treater too! Things have really changed since we used to go out, huh? Love the cute costumes! But your kids could wear paper sacks and still look adorable!
So good to know! We did go to the trunk or treat but I was so bummed the whole time leading up to it, I just think nothing seems as fun and exciting for my kids as it was for us! Now that I know others feel this way we will just continue the traditional way in the years to come we just didn't think anyone would be passing out candy from home!! :) Your kids look so cute!!

I love their costumes and the pictures of them together ALL looking at the SAME time are amazing!
I understand the safety in doing trunk or treat but I do miss the hip happinings of door to door!
I say next year we take back Halloween! Who's with me?
So glad you posted these pictures so I could see the kids in their costumes. You did a great job, the kids all look happy!
