.diapers, Twilight review.

I finally saw Twilight on Monday night with some girls from my ward. While I think it could have been much better, I enjoyed it. I will happily see it again. I’ll go into more details of my opinion about the movie at the bottom of the post so if you want to skip it you can. Not that my opinion matters at all but I enjoyed reading other people’s reviews so I want to post mine.

Brynn is 6 months now! Just this past week was the first time I've had to purchase diapers since she was born! I slowly bought diapers with coupons and one sale once I found out I was pregnant and it lasted us 6 months. Actually a bit longer, I have some bigger diapers. They are just ones she can't fit into quite yet.

Ok if you’re over Twilight or haven’t see it yet, you can skip this part and carry on. Otherwise, here’s my review. In bullet form because it’s pretty random.

- It could and should have been better but I did enjoy it. Hopefully New Moon will be better with a bigger budget.
- The movie was darker than the book, in my opinion.
- I loved Kristen Stewart as Bella, which I hadn’t expected.
- I felt Rob Pattinson played Edward a little too intense and almost creepy for a good part of the movie, but by the end he was Edward.
- I don’t know that it’s any cheesier than the book but I think it might be harder to stomach the cheese on the big screen than it is when reading a book. There were a few parts we just had to laugh right out loud at.
- The makeup was AWFUL. Oh so painful. And Edward’s hair was too…big.

- I LOVED the baseball scene.
- The houses and town were pretty close to how I imagined them.
- I loved Stephenie’s cameo.
- The story felt rushed, and there was too little character development.
- Some of the violence seemed over the top, especially since Stephenie is usually vague about violence in the books.
- I liked Kristen and Rob together. They have really good chemistry.

Ok I could probably go on and on with random comments about the movie but we’ll stop there. I did really have fun watching it but I went in with low expectations so that is probably part of it. It will never be as good as the movie I made in my head while reading the books, but that’s not possible so I’ll take it for what it is!
