.christmas eve at our house.

We hosted the annual Barker Christmas Eve party this year. We rotate homes every year between Josh's brother and sisters.

Instead of the traditional ham and rolls, I decided to do something different and served Cafe Rio style salads. Complete with barbacoa pork, lime rice and creamy cilantro dressing. It tasted great and I think everyone liked having something a little different this time.

Gage enjoying Aunt Tausha's dessert. Brownies, peppermint ice cream and home made fudge sauce.

After dinner the kids did a small gift exchange.

We gave Adam the "go fish" game. All of the kids enjoyed this one.

The kids then watched a Christmas movie upstairs while the adults did a white elephant exchange. Thanks everyone for such a great evening and I'm glad everyone made it up our driveway and home safe.
