Josh brought me home flowers for Valentine's Day Friday afternoon. He gave me a dozen red roses. When he handed me the bouquet he said that 11 were for me and 1 was for Brynn. He then grabbed her from the crib (she was just waking from a nap) and handed her the flower. He told me he wanted her first Valentine to be from her Dad.

Saturday he surprised me with a shopping day just for me without the boys! He got a babysitter for about 4 hours that afternoon and we headed to Ogden to do some shopping. Brynn came with us, and she was a wonderful shopping buddy. I've tried on numerous occasions to get myself some new clothes, but I'm always with all 3 of the kids and its a no fun nightmare! So this was very exciting.

After filling up the van we hopped on the freeway and was on our way. Until....about a mile down the road when the traffic halted! Completely stopped! Josh was freaking out. I was pretty upset too...but what do you do? Brynn was sleeping by then so at least she wasn't screaming like both Josh and I wanted too!

52 minutes later (I timed it!) We were passed the accident and moving again at freeway speed! Yahoo!

We had to hurry a little because of the time we lost in traffic. But I did find some new things including a couple new pairs of shoes. I was in desperate need of some new clothes.

That night I made lasagna for dinner, Josh's favorite. We put the kids to bed then watched a movie and ate chocolate covered strawberries. I've made them every single year for us.

Here's a few pictures of the Valentine I gave to Josh. I made him a things I love about you book. I used a new deck of cards to put everything on and got a picture to go along with most everything in the list. I didn't have time to get some rings to hold it together, so I used Christmas ribbon till I can get some.
