My Mom called last week to see if the boys would like to come down on Friday and spend the night. We drove down yesterday afternoon. She picked up some new kites so we went to the park near her house to try them out.
Here's Brynn eating dirt clods that were all over the grass. It had just been aerated.
The fish kite. It was so cute, mostly because it seems so wrong to have a fish in the sky!

The other one she got was a macaw bird, this design seemed to fly the best.

The weather was BEAUTIFUL. It was so nice to be able to get outside for awhile.
It wasn't the most ideal day to fly, the wind was kinda sporadic and it was hard to keep the kites in the air.
They are going to try again today, so I hope its a little easier this time.

I wanted a picture with the girls, but Brynn couldn't keep her hands off cousin Katy.
Yeah...she's beating up on her already! :) Poor Katy.
And my sister Katie came for a quick visit too!

Oh what a perfect spring day! It felt so good to get outside and feel the sun on your face. Weren't the kites fun. Classic Spring activity, ya just have to go fly a kite. Loved having the boys stay over. The time went way too fast. TJ told me it was their bedtime and it was 8:30. I think he was really tired. I left a lamp on in my bedroom and he came down and asked if they could turn it off and I told him of course so I went to get up and he said he could do it. When I went up later the light was off and they had their bedroom door closed. What easy kids! You and Josh have done an outstanding job...
that first kite pic is pretty awesome--you take good pics! And the st patty's day mischief looked fun, too! I love holidays.
I LOVE that picture of the shadows and the one of you and Katie..you girls are just so pretty! Poor Katy..she too will have her day when picking on the younger ones is fun. :) I'm jealous of the weather...
