.day three, or the drive home.

We woke up early that final day. We enjoyed our free continental breakfast at the hotel before we headed out. On the way out of town I had Josh pull off a short ways to a lookout spot over Lake Powell. The kids stayed in the car while we took a quick peek. This picture is funny because I accidentally had it on record so we have some nice video of us posing for the picture. It was pretty funny...maybe I should have posted that instead?


We then stopped at a funky tourist cave outside of Kamas called Moqui Cave. We paid the fee and went on this dinky tour. The kids were bored, but gotta support the locals...right?

Inside the cave...like I said, it was pretty low budget.

It did have spots for cute photo opts.

Next we made the turn and headed up towards Zion's National Park. I haven't been here in forever. Its changed quite a bit with how you now need to take a shuttle up into the park. We just drove straight though and stopped a few times to enjoy the scenery.

There is a $25 fee to enter the park. Basically we drove straight through, but for a few stops. Kinda pricey, but worth every penny! Its gorgeous!
