.30 years young.

I'm 30. Yep...30. My 30th birthday was a few weeks ago. I looked to the day with dread and tears, but now that its come and past, I've come to grips with it. I don't feel any older and I've been told "30 is the new 20" so I'll run with that one.

Birthday's when your older feel alot like any other day. I told Josh from the get go that I'm never cooking on
my Birthday and so we have a tradition of usually going out for dinner. This year was even better because not only did I eat out for dinner, my SIL took me out for lunch as well! Thanks so much Rachael.

We took the kids with us and met Dad for dinner at Red Robin. I must say it was the bottomless french fries and malt that sealed the deal on where to go!

TJ and his geriatric Mother!

The other half.

Brynn loved this arcade game and screamed bloody murder when we took her off to leave. joy.

Photo op with my babies...Chase too!

It seemed as though the universe was struggling with me turning 30 as well. The sun was blood red and it felt as though the end was near.

I'm an official photography geek and was thrilled with my gift, a new lens! Thanks babe!

Hey Brit,
SOunds like you had an awesome day. I know what you mean about feeling geriatric but you are beautiful and still look 20. The most important part is how you feel. SO if you feel great then you look great. Happy bday and I am so glad you had a good one. I love all your pics and your kids are darling. Have a good one. HAPPY BDAY!

If you are a photo geek then so am I!!! I am so jealous that you had a birthday, because they are national holidays in our house!!! Happy Birthday Brit, it looks like you had such a blast. It's about lunch time right now and fries and a malt sound pretty good to me!!! I can't wait to see you on Friday!!! The picture of the sun is pretty cool, glad it was not the end!

You crack me up Brit...next thing you know, you will have short, puffy blue hair and we can call you a q-tip when you are driving. Of course..we will all be running away screaming when we see you driving because you will be like that q-tip at the end of Ferris Buellers...Bueller...Bueller...
