Mercer Mayer's little critter books are some of my favorites. We have one called "When I Get Bigger". In it little critter talks about all the things he'll be able to do when he gets older like pushing the little kids on the swings, picking out his own boots at the shoes store, and going to first grade! Yep, TJ is officially "bigger". The first day of school this year was on August 31st. We had attended back to school night the week before and I don't think TJ was even nervous this year. He likes his teacher and has a few good buddies in his class. He is taking hot lunch this year and enjoys being able to pick between the two choices everyday. He picks up the bus at 8:20. He talks alot about being chased by girls at recess everyday, but proudly tells me he's too fast for any of them to catch him! I took a few pictures of his first day and put together a few collages. He looks so old in them! He's such a good boy, we just adore him! Love you buddy.
