.Halloween.

We headed out to Bear River to spend Halloween night with Josh's sister Angi and her family. We had soup and bread sticks for dinner and then headed out for some good old fashioned, door to door, trick-or-treating. We had a trunk or treat at our ward house that same afternoon. They said to expect 400 kids! Um...no thank you! I boycotted it again this year, just not my thing.

The kids in their costume attire. The boys were both the same thing as they were last year. That's what they wanted...so I guess I should be grateful it was so easy this year! Brynn was a fairy, I need to get a better picture of her costume. (Like Brynn's pumpkin!)

Our trick-or-treat crew!

Trick-or-treating in Bear River was the best! No traffic, lots of old people who just loved the visit from the kids, and I think they each got 3 full size candy bars, playdough and even a $1 bill from Grandma!

We set a limit of two treats per day. Gage would eat both of his by breakfast time, but he did really well about not whining for more later in the day. The candy is finally gone! Thank goodness!!!

Such fun! Yes, I want to see Brynn in her fairy costume. Good job setting rules on the candy, to all of you!

Happy Halloween! I love Brynn's costume. I am totally with you on the trunk or treat...lame! Good for the boycott! Looks like it turned out better anyway!

Great pictures! I'm all for boycotting the trunk-or-treat too. At least make the kids get the exercise walking around if they're going to eat that much candy!!
