.December fun.

Two weeks till Christmas?!? Can't believe it, good thing I'm about done with all my shopping and have most everything already wrapped. I'm able to enjoy the season much more this way and cutting down on stress is always a good thing.

Here's what we've been up to this last week: December 6-12

Finished and mailed our Christmas cards this year. I went with a new printing company and got press printed cards with a pearl finish. Very nice. I look forward to getting the mail each day! I love getting Christmas cards...hint, hint! :)

Tuesday we took my Achievement day girls to see the lights at Willard bay. Its tradition! Josh gets our trailer loaded with bales of straw and we pull the girls around the park. We got through twice, stop once when it over and everyone trades sides so they can see the other side the next go around. This year was FREEZING cold. I felt bad. The thermometer in the truck read 14 degrees. I got to ride in the front with Josh and Brynn. The boys rode in the back of the truck and Gage cried the whole way home because his hand were freezing.

Only got one picture that night...here it is in all its glory!

Gage can now write his own name. He surprised me the other day when he spelled it out with pretzels...smart boy!

Gage and I made fudge one afternoon for my visiting teaching ladies.

He made quite the mess licking his beater afterwards.

I found the little people nativity set for a great deal online this year. I've been wanting it forever. Its sooo cute and Brynn just loves playing with it. I've been careful to put the pieces away after she does so we don't loose any.

I removed Brynn's stitch on Wednesday. One week after her accident. It has healed nicely, now I just need to get some mederma and see if that helps with scaring. :(

Thursday night I got us a nights stay with my winnings from Good Things Utah. You can see that post here. It was for the Anniversary Inn and December seemed like a good time to use it. Mom watched the kids, thank you! We had dinner at PF Changs downtown and then went up to our room. I don't think I'd spend my own money to go again, its a little on the cheesy side for my taste, but for FREE it was just wonderful. They had sparkling apple juice on ice and cheesecake waiting in the room.

We slept till 8 when breakfast was brought to our room and we ate it on our "porch".
It was delicious!

The next day we ran some errands before we picked up the kids and then took Mom to lunch as a thank you!

And today is a snow day! I love it when that happens on the weekend! The boys have been outside playing all morning.
