.seven.

My firstborn it seven! So many emotions flood my mind when I stop and think about it. First grade already, reading chapter books, doing so many things on his own. Cub scouts and baptism in just one more short year!

My friend Lisa gave me a great book from Christmas this year called Hello Cupcake! (She knows me all too well.) I convinced TJ to let me make him cupcakes this year instead of yet another motorcycle cake. I gave him the book and told him to choose any design he wanted.

They turned out pretty great and I was super excited. The work that goes into each one is just crazy. Each a work of art for sure! :) The sharks were the hardest and tried to tip over on me all the time. In the end I had to support the back one with a pretzel stick because he kept wanting to tumble over. The one if the front worked...yay! There is a little number "7" candle on the one with a buoy.

He opened a present before school and then we had to wait till Dad got home from work for the rest. His class made him a Birthday Wishes book and it was fun to see what the others in his class had to say about him. Most everyone said he was funny!

We only can do this picture for 3 more years before he runs out of fingers. big sigh.

He got what he wanted...lucky boy. A video ipod. Its actually a regift from me...it was my Christmas present from about 3 years ago. Eh, what they don't know won't kill em' right? I had the box and everything, he never suspected a thing!

Happy Birthday to you!

I so *heart* that he's wearing his headphones in this picture...cute boy!

Tasty, tasty!

We went to Toad's in Harrisville that evening to celebrate. As soon as we got there, I whipped
out the camera to document the fun and realized that I forgot to put my memory card back in the camera. Doh!

I did have my hand flipvideo and filmed lots. We played mini golf and arcades for a few hours. We enjoyed the cupcakes when we got home.
