The Saturday before Father's day after we spent the day doing chores the kids and I gave Dad his early Father's Day present. A new handheld GPS. Our plan was to hike up the Perry Canyon and find the cache that was listed there. We drove to the trail head and then walked up the trail.
We brought along Brynn's stroller and she took turns riding in it, then walking.
We got to the right spot (or what we thought was right) and the boys and Dad went into the bushes to find the cache. After a good look around, we gave up and headed back. Come to find out later...that cache had been moved.
It was a nice adventure and the we all enjoyed ourselves. Its just too bad our first Geo chaching was a bust. Oh well...better luck next time!
