.perry city 4th of july celebration.

We attended the city's 4th of July celebrations again this year. I think the 4th is my very most favorite part of living where we do. We woke up early so our entire family could participate in the morning races.

TJ, Gage and I ran in the mile "fun run".

And Josh pushed Brynn in his first official 5K race.

Gage came in 1st place in his age group, 6 & Under.

And TJ was 3rd in his division. Here's a picture of the race board, if you look closely you can see both the boys names.

The were both awarded ribbons...I was so proud!

Afterward we stayed and bought a few breakfasts to support the local search and rescue team.

After that we hung around the Park for an hour or so and waited for the parade to start.

The parade gets bigger every year and this year was no exception. I've been attending this event for almost 10 years now and its crazy to see how much its grown.

The boys waiting with their bags to fill on the parade route.

And a picture afterwards, bags full!

I really love the Perry City Fourth! I got home sick just looking at these pictures. I used to run the fun run every year! Glad you get to enjoy it with your kids too!

Im very impressed with your fast boys! That is so cool,I bet they loved the ribbons! Good job to you as well and Josh for the 5K. You could totally do one of those. I remember when you first moved up there mom, Katie and me coming to the parade. It was so fun! Looks like they got some good loot. Tell them they have to share with me next time!
