.Swan Valley, Idaho.

Josh had some out of town work in Idaho at a local Ranch in Swan Valley. He had worked at this location previously and it sounded amazing. The Ranch had two guest houses and they invited him to bring his family this time. We stayed for 3 days while Josh worked on some solar panels for the Ranch owners.

This is the "barn" where we stayed.

Here's the kitchen and living area. I felt like we were in a 5 star suite.

This is the work area when Josh spent his time. They were working on the power collection from the solar panels. There are 4 huge batteries in this shed they were construction. Each weighing 3000 lbs. They worked on the controls that kicked their power over to the solar energy in case the main power supply was down.

One afternoon I took the kids into town and got some of their famous "square" ice cream.

Josh's boss Rick came as well and brought along his two boys Kobe and Kia.
I took all 5 of them out for the cold treat.

Brynn's picture is the only one that resembled the square shape. The basically just used a square scoop and Farr's ice cream.

TJ's square.

They had lots of horses and Brynn and I got a personal tour of the new foals.

This is Jenny. She's the Ranch hand. (I think that's what you'd call it?) Her husband and daughter live on the property and do everything imaginable as far as work up there. She was adorable and kept me good company.

The boys spent their time doing boy stuff. This included shooting guns, riding bikes and 4-wheelers.

The scenery was breathtaking...seriously the most beautiful place I think I've ever been. If given the chance I think I'd move there in a heartbeat!

Sigh...I got a few pictures of the kids in this little piece of heaven.

Had I know I would have brought some nicer clothes for the kids and my fancy camera!

They had a fantastic playground which is where the kids spent lots of time.

This is cute Lulu. She's Jenny and Joseph's little girl. She was very friendly!

Lulu wanted to be Brynn's friend more than Brynn wanted to be hers.

They had some free range chickens that the girls fed animal crackers.

This was in Jenny's front yard. Her log home was beautiful.

Here's some more pictures of our bedroom accommodations.

Poor Brynn got sick the last night we were there. She got the pukies and thew up most of the night. The next day she was miserable and the ride to Thatcher was horrible. Throw-up in the car is no fun.

Wow! It is gorgeous there! I'm ready to pack up and move there too.
Great pics! All on your point and shoot? Just goes to show you that it is the photographer not the camera that takes great pictures! :)
