.box elder county fair.

Josh got off work a little early on the Friday the fair was running. We had wanted to make time to run out there and so we went that afternoon. First thing we took the kids to ride some rides. It was still fairly early so the lines weren't too long yet.

This was to be Gage's first "big boy" ride experience. TJ rode this same ride last year and did fine. They both were able to ride it this year. I am NOT a ride person and get sick at the thought of going on such a ride. I was worried for him. My worries intensified when the ride started and we saw poor Gage's face. He looked as though he was going to cry. I buried my face in Josh's shoulder...I couldn't bear to watch. To my surprise after he came up and said how much fun it was. The look on his face definitely made us think otherwise. I'm glad it didn't ruin his day!

Our traditional picture of the kids on the motorcycle ride. This year though, TJ said he was too old to ride it!?!?! what??? I can't stand that 7 years old is too big to ride this. Stop growing up, would ya?

The skies darkened as a huge storm was rolling in.

TJ was such a sweet big brother to ride the baby ride with Brynn. She wouldn't have gone with out him.

Josh and TJ rode this crazy ride.

We made it to the sheep house just as the rain started to fall. It DUMPED rain. We did stay nice and dry and even got to see the sheep costume competition while we waited. That was comical.

The rain did let up about the time we were ready to head home. It was fun like always. I love the fair!

Um not only is TJ not too old to ride that ride, he is so sweet to ride with Brynn....that made me smile! I am defiantly a rider but fair rides are pretty scary so it makes you extra brave to ride them...gage! Good job! Love all the pics!
