.winding down.

The day after T-ball I signed the boys up for flag football. Its the first year we have participated. Honestly, I didn't know their was a flag team. It sounded much less scary than tackle football. Josh got a call a few days later asking if he could assist in coaching the team. He told them he could if both his boys were on the same team. So they bumped Gage up from the kindergarten team to TJ's 2nd and 3rd grader team! They had their first practice/game on August 23rd. It went great and they won their game. Josh was in heaven, he was born for this I tell ya.

I've caught the quilting bug and made a simple quilt top. Its darling and I love the fabrics. Its a new line that hasn't hit the stores quite yet so I think I'll wait to get the backing so that it will match.

Still trying to squeeze out every last bit of fun for the summer we went to the Aerospace Museum. This time was just by ourselves.

And this time, unlike when we went before they had the kids discovery area open! They had dress-up costumes and a real cockpit for the kids to play with. This make for fantastic photo-ops which was fun.

Brynn had fun watching.

Ha I can just see Josh now from the sidelines! How fun! That must also be fun for TJ and Gage to be on the same team. Go, Fight, Win!!!!
