.christmas eve.

We held the annual Barker Christmas Eve Party at our church house this year! We had a fabulous time and it was great to have the gym to run around and spend some energy.

Before dinner we had a couple rounds of speed going and the kids rode rip sticks and wiggle cars around. There also was plenty of balls bouncing everywhere.

We had dinner of ham, potatoes, lot of yummy salads and dips.

After dinner we had a big game of jump rope. We formed a obstacle and took turns running through. I was too busy jumping that I didn't get any pictures of that.

We do a gift exchange every year. The cousins all draw names and get each other a gift.

After our party we rushed home and got the kids in bed. They first were able to open their Christmas Eve gift, new pajamas!

When the kids were getting all dressed, Brynn disappeared into her bedroom. A few minutes later we hear her crying and I went to check on her. She was sobbing and told me she didn't want Santa coming in our house! She was so sad and upset we finally had to tell her he wasn't coming and she didn't need to worry about it. So funny.

Before bed I grabbed a picture of them all in front of the tree. The boys were SO excited for the big day!
