I told the kids I wanted to do a quick photoshoot for some more pictures to put on the back of our Christmas card this year. I usually have to bribe them some, so I told them afterward we would go to the mall for dinner and to see Santa.
I knew Brynn would hate Santa, it was pretty much a given. I still wanted to get a picture with all the kids on his lap, even if Brynn was upset and crying. I thought it would be something fun to look back on. Well, we got there and of course she got upset. I told her I wanted a picture with her brothers on his lap. I tried and tried to put her onto his lap and there was NO WAY she was having any of that! She immediately would stiffen up and plop straight to the floor. I almost just tried for a pull back shot with her on the floor, but even that wasn't going to happen. I wish so much that it would have worked out like I wanted it too! But, I also didn't want to traumatize her too much. Oh well.
Instead this is the picture we ended up with. Afterward, with plenty of distance between us and Santa. Brynn looks pretty happy with me, huh?

Yeah I wanted to get a pic like that of the kid crying of Katy, but I think I would have traumatized her too much too! Since Steve's office is at the mall and when we visit we walk around she always makes me "holdie" her when we get close to santa at all! Ha, least you got some good pics....love them!
