.quilt class.

I've been on the hunt for a machine quilting class for awhile now. Finally one became available at the local quilt shop here in town. I signed up for it in early December and it was held on February 19th. I signed Amy up for it as well and her sister-in-law Heidi came too! Josh ended up traveling home from Alamosa Colorado all day that Saturday so I had to scramble a little bit to find someone to watch the kids, thankfully it worked out.

We had to get a darning foot to free hand machine quilt.
We learned the basics and away we went!

Here's a picture of my sample quilt sandwich.

We got a huge sampler quilt top with lots and lots of different stitch patterns. I hopefully will get some time here to finish that before I attempt to quilt the one I finished forever ago!

Brit, that sounds like so much fun. It has been forever since I really quilted I need to do it again. I can't wait to see what you make.
