I don't think we took a single picture in Mesquite, I guess because we got in late and left early? Or, probably because there isn't much to see there. Anyway, Monday morning we left for Las Vegas baby! We detoured a little and stopped for the morning at Valley of Fire. It was a nice over cast day...perfect for pictures! Josh is a good man for humoring me and taking all these pictures.

We then left for Vegas. The drive out of the park back onto I-15 felt like forever, but we finally made it. We had plans to stop at the famous Gold & Silver Pawn shop, the home of the TV show 'Pawn Stars'. For Christmas around 2 years ago, Mom gave us the first season which airs on the History channel on DVD. It was fabulous and we were hooked. We don't have cable, but you can catch a season or two on Netflix. Check it out.We heard the place can get busy. It was about 2pm on a Monday when we stopped so we were hoping the lines wouldn't be too bad. We stood outside about 10 minutes and then we were let inside. No sign of any of the cast members (reality stars) which was a bummer, but I did recognize the bouncer guy and it was just neat to see where it is filmed. Much different than I imagined in my head.
Our reservations for the first two nights were at the MGM Signature. It was a non gaming hotel behind the MGM Grand. When I say behind....I mean waaaayy behind! It was quite the walk to everywhere in Vegas. Walk, walk, walk. We could only valet our cars, which bugged Josh. I thought it was fun and it was complimentary so besides the tip, it was free. We had a junior suite on the 22nd floor. It was pretty fancy, so that was fun. Nice big room with everything you could need.
After we dropped off our bags we explored a little and needed to grab some lunch. We ended up at the MGM and had a Nathan's hotdog. We walked the casino a little and saw the lions.
That night we had tickets for Cirque Du Soleil's The Beatles Love. I scored some great tickets before our trip and we walked all the way down to the Mirage to pick up them up. Our tickets were for the late show (9:30) so we got some dinner at the Cheesecake Factory before.

The show was A.MAZ.ING! So incredible! Probably the highlight of the trip for me. Pure magic and our seats were awesome! I snapped a picture of the two of us while we were waiting in our seats (I wasn't going to take pictures of the show) and nearly got us kicked out! They were not happy with me about that. So, the other pictures I included here were from their website. Highly, highly recommend it!!!!!
