One night after the kids were in bed, Josh and I ran into to town for a treat at Wingers. As we were pulling onto the street in front, we were pulled over by the police. Turns our our front headlight was out. The officer asked if we had been drinking. He said they were looking for
DUI's that night and that they need an excuse (like a broken headlight) to pull people over. There was another issue with him thinking that Josh has a concealed weapons permit and asked why he didn't have his gun. Huh? It was a
misunderstanding with his new computer, and we were on our way again.

Football still consumes our evenings. Brynn and Gage have made friends with the other players families and they don't seem to mind waiting at practice.

The boys are both doing extremely well at their spelling lists!
Every time they bring home a 100% corrected test, I feel like I earned that grade as well!

Ha, you'd be suprised at how many DUI's Steve has gotten by pulling over people with lights out or lights off...that's a big one! Sounds like Josh needs a concealed weapons permit! Ha, I have one but I dont pack heat! I can imagine you'd feel like you got 100% as well on your spelling tests! That is great, my worst subject by far!
That's because you did earn that grade! Parent's deserve so much credit for putting in the time to help teach their kids. Proud of you Britney...
