I'd been anxious to get up the canyon and do some hiking while the colors were so beautiful. Seems like they only last a few weeks or so. After we got back from Salt Lake Josh was waiting for us and we went up the canyon and walked along the Grizzly Peak Trail straight east of our house. The trail is very wooded and narrow and meandered back and forth up the canyon. The colors were beautiful, the hills were on fire! 
Poor Gage had a rough go on our hike that day. He tripped and fell flat, sprawled out on the ground three separate times! The third time Josh told me to get a picture of the pathetic little thing! :) Poor guy, we couldn't help but smile.
At the bottom of our hike we stopped and played in the pond for awhile. TJ showed off his skipping rock skills and everyone of the kids managed to get their shoes wet.
