Baby is growing nicely. I can't believe how active this little one is! At 26 weeks I went to the hospital to have my blood drawn for the glucose test. I ended up getting a call later that week and was told I didn't pass and was now to take the 3 hour test. I was pretty bumbed, seeing as I've never failed the test previously. I made my appointment and went into the hospital again. I was to fast before the test. The did a blood draw, then had me drink a more concentrated glucose drink (yuck) then I had to wait an hour come back for another blood draw, and then two more each hour after. I was able to find a family waiting room in the hosptial and made myself a spot there to wait. I brought the ipad and there was a tv in the waiting room so that helped keep me busy. I got a call after telling me that I did pass this time so I was grateful. At my appointment my doctor said that women who fail the first test, but pass the second have a greater risk of having a large baby! Not something I wanted to hear. I was hoping this baby would be smaller than Brynn was. I don't really want another 8 and 1/2 pound baby!
