We had TJ's first friend Birthday party Saturday. I asked him what kind of party he wanted and he told me he wanted a "Snake Birthday". Huh? With a little help from me, we came up with the Indiana Jones theme instead. That way we could still incorporate snakes into the party. It was a great theme and was pretty easy to come up with some fun ideas.
Here are the party boys. I asked TJ if there was any girls he wanted to invite. Nope, boys only he said.
We played Mummy wrap with TP. We divided up into two teams and see who could wrap the fastest.
Next we played a bunch of balloon games. Bouncing the balloons was the bit hit. We tried bouncing them so many times on our heads, elbows, feet, shoulders, etc. We even bumped them on their bums...they LOVED that one!
Then we played the stomp on the balloon game. We tied the balloons to their legs and then they had to try and pop each others. It was hilarious!!! No one could pop any balloons. Finally I said, who ever popped their own balloon wins. Even that posed quite the challenge. Mega strong balloons I guess?
Yep, its blue. Special request from TJ.

I think this is my favorite post yet! You did an amazing job! Looks liks they had some serious fun. That cake was incredible! How did you do it? I'm terrible at cakes. Tyler is so artsy that I let him do the cake decorating.
Yes, we're moving. We're only here in Boise until the end of June. Then I think we'll be heading north to Montana most likely. We'll see what happens. The town we're looking at has just under 10,000 people for pop. Pretty small huh? That's what I meant about getting my fix because the closest city is 2 hours away and I'm sure we'll only make it down there once a month or so. That's if we go to this place we're thinking. Anyway, glad to see motherhood continuing to look so good on you!
How fun! Great job on the birthday cake! It looks great. After two failed attempts at birthday cake making, I think I have given up.
