.little visitor.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The boys woke up to find we had a little visitor last night. This little leprechaun left green footprints all over the counter and fridge and then colored our milk GREEN!

the evidence

green milk for breakfast!

TJ calling Dad to tell him what he found.

I tend my niece and nephew today and they thought the footprints were pretty neat!

Both Rachael's kids had on adorable St. Patrick's day t-shirts. Here's Will in his which says, "Mom's Lucky Charm". I though it was pretty appropriate considering he was born on 07.07.07!

Brynn checking out the feeties too!

Neat footprints and green milk!!! I love the looks on the boys' faces. They look a little confused and excited all at the same time. I also love seeing what Maren and Will have been up to. Thanks for posting and being such a great Aunt/babysitter!!!!

Hmmm..I wonder what the leprachaun used to make the green footprints..did he tell you? You are such a cute and creative mommy..I am going to have to steal all your creative ideas. :)

Thanks for your comments everyone!

Denice, I used green paint. Its just some washable paint we had from crayola. The boys LOVED this...we just had the neighbor boys over to check it out! Fun!

I LOVE the footprints! You got the good leprachaun :) I bet my boys wish they would of gotten your leprachaun and not the crazy one who came to our house and colored our milk purple!!!

Oh no, Josh is out of town? will he be back by the weekend? I can so sympathize, I hate life too when Ryan is gone, I am so thankful he doesn't travel regularly for work.

I will have to try some of that washable paint in the future, were the footprints hard to get off?

Your kids are so lucky to have you for their Mom! You're growing memories...the boys are getting old enough that they will actually remember these things. Seeing you being Mom to your kids has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Sometimes when I watch you I have deja-vu!

Man, my kids are deprived. If it wasn't for my visiting MIL, my kids would have had to eat just plain old pancakes instead of green ones. I like the footprints. Lexi had some at school and said they smelled like sweat socks. I hope your visitor has better personal hygeine especially since he was on your counter and fridge ;)

i love getting on your blog to get ideas, you always have the best ones.
and to answer your question about disneyland--i don't know if i'd go again that close to spring break. The closer it got to the weekend the busier it was...we had some friends go the end of February and said it was awesome! Not busy and great weather.

You have got to be one of the most creative mothers I know! I love that idea... I tend to let those little holidays slip.

Very cute Brit! How fun. I totally forget it was St. Pat. day until I took Logan to Preschool. What a great mom am I.
I like the green milk that is really fun. I remember that my our neighbor growing up always did the green foot prints outside all over to find a treasure. I was so fun.
