.my week from you know where.

Sunday December 4th started the busiest week of my life (or so it felt like at the time). Sunday Josh and his siblings were in charge of his family Christmas party. The adults get together the first Sunday in December for dinner, games and lots of visiting! Besides helping with food and everything else, we were in charge of the game. We told everyone to bring a $5 gift for an exchange. Josh stood in the middle of the huge circle we made. (usually there is around 150 people) and read a right/left story while we passed around our gifts according to the story. It was a great night.

Tuesday was our ward Relief Society Christmas dinner. I'm the ward RS meeting coordinator if you don't remember and so these nights rank VERY high on my stress meter. Its alot of work and really I mostly delegate, but its always a worry that it will come together as you hope it will. The sisters in my ward are amazing and everything went perfectly. Dinner was homemade lasagna, green salad, and garlic toast.

This was the dessert table! There was bite size portions of everyone's best holiday dessert!

Besides everything else, I was in charge of finding and making a gift for every sister in our ward. I found these great sparklie stars at Tai Pan and attached a message to all 150 of them! We displayed them on these cute trees at the ends of the food table.

The last big event for my week was Thursday night when it was my turn to host my Bunco group. I got gift baskets from Kneaders Bakery as the prizes and make a white cherry cream cake for dessert. I can't believe I forgot to take pictures...guess its because I was kinda busy! 16 friends were over at our house and we were very noisy and had lots of fun like usual! I also found out that night because of our big group, I don't have to host again until 2012! Woot!

Thank goodness Josh was in town that week, I don't think I could have got it all done without his help! And I'm so happy to say I survived!!!

Lastly a picture of Brynn from Starbucks. I never go to Starbucks but needed to get a thank you gift for my old boss as thanks for doing some dental work for Josh. While there Brynn and I decided to try some hot chocolate goodness. They have kids hot chocolate that was the perfect temperature and I tried their amazing Salted Carmel Hot Chocolate per my Mom's request. Wow!
