Tuesday was Josh's Birthday! We spent the entire day at Sunny Cove beach. There are two designated beaches on Flaming Gorge Reservoir and this was the closest to where we stayed.
We bought a raft and oar the Saturday before our trip.
As soon as we got it inflated Josh took the kids out onto the water.
Later in the afternoon all 5 of our went out for a row.
Brynn liked to just sit and play on the raft while it was on the beach.
We brought our shade tent which was a lifesaver when being out in the sun all day. We also brought plenty of snacks and drinks. Rick brought a couple of jet ski's and we took turns riding them with the kids. Josh took Brynn out for a ride in the afternoon and she immediately feel asleep.
We ran into Katie again (this time I got a picture) and she and a friend stayed and visited with me for a little bit. She had already gone out water skiing that morning.After our long day we were starved and ate at the local restaurant at the resort we stayed. It was crazy busy and we had to wait awhile. The food was good though and they brought Josh an ice cream sundae and we all got to sing to him.
These pictures were from that morning before we headed out. You can see our Condo behind the kids. In this picture we stayed in the second story room right above Brynn's head and the white truck.
This reminds me so much of the kids crawling around on a trailer full of 4-wheelers.
